Transferring Storytailor | Blog to a new computer is easy.
On your original computer, go to File > Backup/Restore Settings…
Click “Backup Current Settings” and then go to “Next” and choose a location to save the preferences backup file. We suggest Dropbox and Google Drive as it’s syncs across both computers if you have them on there. Otherwise, grab a USB Drive.
On your new computer download the latest version of the software.
Once it’s installed, launch Storytailor | Blog and follow the prompts.
Then go to File > Backup/Restore Settings…
Select “Restore Settings from File” and click “Next”.
Find your preferences backup and open it up.
Then you should be all good to activate as usual!
